About the team
Christopher played sports all of his life which taught and engraved a hard work ethic. Football was first then came wrestling. This discipline gave hi...m the inspiration and ambition to start Brazilian jujitsu and other martial arts fighting courses. Christopher went on to become an RNA and can also be found bartending at local restaurants. He makes a killer drink by the way! Christopher found his way back into martial arts boxing when he stumbled upon 9Round Chelsea Place. He is our lead trainer and ALWAYS has his "A" game when running the floor! Come by and see for yourself what it means to WORK HARD!!! More
Sarah joined 9Round as a member in June 2016 with prior boxing and Soo Bahk Do martial arts training. She "was out of shape and overweight due to 2 kn...ee surgeries on each leg and lack of overall health and exercise." She quickly fell in love with the 9Round workout and started coming to the gym at least 5 times a week. In July 2017 Sarah joined the 9Round Chelsea Team as a trainer. Since coming to 9Round Sarah has lost over 30lbs and feels stronger than ever! In addition to Sarah's love for kickboxing, she is also a craft beer nerd and works as a bartender at a local brewery. She is also a proud cat mom of 2 beautiful half Siamese rescues. More
Heather “Phoenix” fell in love with kickboxing when a friend dragged her to a class in 2015. She did gymnastics and dance for 10 years but had spent s...everal years being out of shape and not very active. She loved the physical and mental changes she felt. She eventually quit her stressful full-time job to become a personal trainer. When Heather and her husband moved to Florida, she changed kickboxing gyms when she discovered 9Round. She fell in love instantly to the quick and effective workouts. Outside of 9Round Chelsea Place, you can find Heather training clients at the local Y, kayaking, reading, hanging out with her cat, or planning her next trip as traveling is her favorite thing to do! More
