About the team
Fitness has been a passion of mine since I can remember. I decided to take kickboxing classes after high school to stay in shape, and ended up finding... a passion for mixed martial arts. I have been training for 6 plus years, and have earned a purple belt in BJJ, black belt in TKD and have competed in a total of 11 MMA fights. I was intrigued when I discovered 9Round, as it is not your typical gym. I enjoy that I am able to use my previous experience to help me to become more efficient in teaching members how to learn the skills they need to know for the workout. Even though I have had experience with kickboxing, the 9Round workouts still push me and make me work hard! They are challenging but always fun, and different every day! I am so thankful to have the opportunity to help others achieve their fitness goals, while continuing to pursue my own! More
I’ve loved working out and being physically active for as long as I can remember. I played soccer from the time I was four through my freshman year of... college, I run triathlons, and a good mud run always hits the spot. My sister introduced me to kickboxing the summer before I left for college and I’ve been hooked ever since. I wanted to become a 9 Round trainer to share my love for the sport and to help push our members the way my trainers pushed me. When I’m not in the gym or classes I’m probably outdoors, I love hiking, camping, and all things trees! More
I have been a member for over 3 years, so the transition to trainer seemed to be the natural progression. I want to provide the same side by side coac...hing and encouragement that previous 9R trainers provided me. Come alongside and help each team member reach their fitness goals. When the gloves come off, I enjoy knitting. Knitting is a great way to decompress and I can share handmade, unique one of a kind gifts for family and friends. My own fitness goals are to get stronger, improve endurance\conditioning, build muscle, and improve flexibility. In my efforts to improve my physical health, I also want to ensure that I am moving forward in my metal and spiritual health. It is all about balance! More
I grew up playing basketball but always had an interest in boxing as a way to stay in shape. In 2020, I decided to explore that interest and joined 9r...ound. From the start I loved every aspect from the camaraderie with members and trainers to the incredible workout I would get, so it was a no brainer when I had the opportunity to become a trainer myself. My goal is continue my fitness journey of building muscle and endurance while helping others do the same. More

Grew up playing soccer. In 2012 I lost almost 60lbs and became addicted with a healthy lifestyle and working out became my “happy place”. Joined 9Roun...d as a member in January of 2015 and enjoyed it so much I decided to join the 9Round family in November 2015 and have been here since. My life has revolved around martial arts ever since started Karate when I was around 8. Since then, I have trained in Boxing, Kickboxing, Brazilian Ji...u Jitsu and MMA. 9Round has given me an opportunity to show others the benefits of training in combat sports, in a simple, safe and fun environment. The 9Round gym has provided me a space to help myself, and others, excel in boxing and kickboxing skill, fitness level and overall attitude. More
