About the team
I have been involved with 9Round since I was hired as the Manager at the 27th and Old Cheney location in April of 2016. I am a native of Wilber, Ne, b...ut have always been around the Lincoln area. I attended Doane College where I received my bachelor’s degree in Fitness Management. While at Doane, I was a member of the Tigers track and field team all 4 years. I have been involved in athletics my entire life, participating in basketball, football, baseball, and track and field while in high school at Wilber-Clatonia. Health and fitness has always been a priority of mine, but it didn’t become a passion of mine until my senior year of college when I decided to become a Certified Personal Trainer. Through my experience of helping people reach their health and fitness goals, I have become addicted to coaching, mentoring, and preparing people through their own transformations. Whether the goal is weight-loss, gaining lean muscle, or getting into a habit of exercising on a regular basis, the physical and mental strength gained during the process has made my career choice very rewarding. Each person has a different story, and assisting them to get on the right track through exercise has made my life a joy. As the old cliché says, “Do something you love and you’ll never work a day of your life.” That statement couldn’t be more true for me. When I’m not “working,” I enjoy spending time with my fiancé, Brandy, and my baby girl, Bentley, as well as other close friends and family. Traveling, fishing, attending sporting events, and enjoying a nice cheat meal are also on my go-to list when possible. My favorite round is #8. In my opinion, the speed bag is a mind game. Most members struggle (as I did) when they first try it, but once you get the rhythm, it’s so much fun! Once you get it mastered, you can add different exercises to the routine (burpees, squat jumps, etc.) to keep your heart rate elevated, which is great! I chose 9Round Fitness because I really appreciated the concept. Get a killer full-body workout in only 30 minutes?!? No way! But, once I gave a workout a try for myself, I was hooked! Working every muscle in your body, doing different exercises each and every day, on YOUR OWN WATCH (no class times rock!) is a recipe for success that I will always be passionate about. Bottom line for an effective workout program – Do you see results? The answer with 9Round is always YES!! In addition, I love building relationships with our members and having them know that our staff can be trusted and will do everything we can to help them reach their goals! More
Demetrius “All Day” Alexander was born and raised with a passion for fitness. His athletic background ranges from being selected to all star football ...games to engaging in combative training with fellow soldiers in his unit. Demetrius joined the military as a 17-year-old still in high school and the vigorous training he has gone through has molded him to a highly motivated individual with a drive for success. He attended the University of Nebraska Lincoln where he chose the major of nutrition and exercise science as well as work in the strength and conditioning field. The Demon is ready to get you fired up and help you pursue your fitness goals. More
"Rowdy Roddy" Todd
"Rowdy Roddy" Todd is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps helicopter-borne infantry and is familiar with intense training. He has spent many ...years in fitness and martial arts, including MCMAP - the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, and finds 9Round to be the ideal platform for combining his needs for high intensity sports and a passion for helping others develop a craft while reaching their fitness goals. Hear him roar! Trevor "The Lion" is originally from Aurora, NE, but grew up in Decatur, IL. Trevor graduated from college at Nebraska Wesleyan Univer...sity in Lincoln, NE. Trevor has always been competitive, participating in baseball, basketball, and football in high school. Trevor also played collegiate baseball. Trevor has always had a strong interest in the discipline of martial arts. He practiced kickboxing in high school at a local gym. 9Round has given Trevor the opportunity to fuel his competitiveness and continue his growth through the best means possible – kickboxing. More
Hi! My name is Lindsey Gasper. I am originally from Columbus, Nebraska. I fell in love with working out at 9Round when I lived in Columbia, MO where I... was a member of the local 9Round for close to a year. It has changed my outlook on how fun and rewarding a gym like this can really be! I want to share my love with others who have the aspiration to become a better and stronger version of themselves. I also like to run and hike in my spare time and the club has allowed me to be better at both. I am excited to be a part of 9Round Lincoln! More

Tim “The Viking” Vettel has a deep passion for training at 9Round. He’s a fun loving, family man with an excitable personality that makes working out... seem like a time warp. As former collegiate level football player, he knows how to turn up the intensity. With a no pain-no gain attitude, Tim challenges your mind and body while leaving you with a sense of accomplishment that keeps you focused on your goals. Tim is a graduate of the Master Kickboxing Trainer camp and has also completed training under the legendary boxing trainer Xavier "Bad-pads" Biggs. Ian “The Yeti” Stirek is originally from Columbus, NE where he first found his passion for fitness. This passion began in high school where Ian was in...volved in football, basketball and track. Since then this passion has grown and has now branched out more towards lifting and spending his time in the gym. Ian is currently attending Southeast Community College for his interest in business. Because of Ian’s great interest in lifting and fitness, he now wants to assist others in finding their passion for fitness. More
Don’t be intimidated by his 6’5 stature, Carson “Mad Dog” Morgan is as friendly as they come. A native of St. Paul, Nebraska, Carson currently resides... in Lincoln where he attends Nebraska Wesleyan University and is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. Carson was active through-out high school, competing and earning many awards in football, basketball, and track. He also competed in collegiate football at NWU. It was in the gym and weight room, training for athletics, where he first discovered his passion for fitness and nutrition. Carson prides himself on eating healthy, and dedicating time every day to focus on his physical fitness. He is eager to share his love for fitness and nutrition with all of the 9Round Fitness members! More
“Nasty” Nick Norris is from Columbus Nebraska, where his fitness passion started at a young age. Growing up he played multiple sports and always enjoy...ed testing himself mentally and physically. That passion continued as an adult as he won a amateur championship in mma then eventually competed professionally in MMA. Nick is excited to share his knowledge from combat sports and fitness training that he has accumulated over the years. More

The best thing about 9Round is the results. I'm 50 years old & in 5 months, I've lost over 55 pounds, I'm leaner, my core is rock solid & I feel great! The workouts are never the same, they are alwa... ys fun & there's something therapeutic about punching & kicking the heavy bag. I can go whenever I want, work as hard as I want & I can even pick what songs to listen to. The trainers know your name & are always positive & encouraging. It doesn't matter how old you are or what shape you're in, 9Round will help you reach your goals. It only takes 35 minutes & they'll be the best 35 minutes of your day. What do I like best about 9Round? EVERYTHING. First off, the minute I walk in the door every trainer greets me by name EVERY TIME. I also love that I am getting a good, hard, workout in just 30 minute... s. I have never left there thinking to myself "well that was a pointless workout." My favorite part of the workout is the trainer lead pad drills. I love being able to be pulled off multiple rounds to do extra pad work. I've done many different workouts over the last few years and this is the first one I haven't gotten sick of and quit. I actually look forward to going. Every day is a different workout and if a trainer thinks something is to easy for you, they will modify it so you are forced to push yourself and work harder. The intensity that is guaranteed at workouts. It was difficult for me to warm up on my own before. I was training to be a pro baseball player and regret not doing HIIT with 9round.
