9Round West Parmer's own Certified Master Trainer Marathon Runner, Avid Road Biker, and all around literal fitness Maniac. With backgrounds ranging... from Crossfit, Taekwondoe, Rock Climbing, and Strength and Conditioning, Mason has made it a point to attempt and do it all. He aspires to run an UltraMarathon (100mi distnce) in the next few years and and begin training for IronMan 170.6mi Triathlons as well. Born and raised in the Austin TX area, Vince is a trained boxer. He began boxing 17 years ago under the trainer Richard Lord at the Lord’s Boxing Gym.... Vince has fought in multiple amateur boxing matches over the years and sparred with numerous professional boxers including Jesus Chavez. Before 9 Round, Vince was a boxing coach and taught Women’s Self Defense. Vince is aware that the techniques and conditioning learned in boxing can help in real life situations- bringing self-control, confidence and a new found passion. In his spare time Vince enjoys spending time with his family, reading and watching UFC Fights. More

Since there are COVID restrictions currently and the amount of people that can be in the gym at once is lower, I feel like the trainers have more time with each person. They have better opportunities ... to watch form, correct you so you don't get hurt, etc. I love the high intensity and the boxing is a great way to reduce stress. I tell everyone about 9 Round. being able to pop in whenever I want, participate in 30 minutes of HIIT, and have FUN doing it....that's what I like best! And not just any HIIT, but boxing HIIT....my fave! It is always such a great work out and I love that it is a little different every day. It is fun to put on the boxing gloves and punch it out. I also see results when I go consistently. My favorite... part is that I can go workout any time and I don't have to stress out about sign up for a class time that is available and also fits in my schedule.
