About the team
Meagan is the owner of the Highland Village and Hurst 9Round locations. Meagan has always had a passion for health and fitness and holds a bachelor de...gree in Health Promotion from the University of North Texas. While going to school full-time and working full-time, she started looking for a workout that would fit her busy lifestyle. She gave 9Round a try and loved it! The 30 minute workout and no class times fit her hectic schedule perfectly, and she knew right away that she would love training and educating others in this fitness sector and help them take their fitness goals to the next level! Growing up on the beach in Florida cultivated Kate’s love for an active outdoors lifestyle. Her passion for moving brought her to UTA to study exercis...e science so she can pursue a career in personal training, health, and wellness. Kate loves challenging people in the gym to empower them, and herself, through exercise in a way that they can take with them outside of 9Round in their day-to-day lives. Kate’s favorite part of 9Round is that every day is a new challenge. More
Hector's love for fitness started off on the soccer field, playing throughout middle school and high school. One day, a coworker invited him to a kick...boxing gym where he learned basic kickboxing and jujitsu. Ever since, he has enjoyed learning the basics of boxing, which lead him to be a member here at 9Round Hurst for over three years. Hector wanted to be a trainer to one day train his daughter to be able to defend herself, as well as show her and others that, although boxing can be violent, it can teach you many other things, like being patient, disciplined, calm, etc. His favorite thing about 9Round is getting to help people improve their fitness and kickboxing skills. Jacob has been involved in sports and athletics his whole life. He has been lifting weights, playing football, and playing baseball since a young age.... His favorite coach, his high school football coach, instilled the importance of proper form and technique early on, teaching him skills that he still carries with him today. Jacob has always taken an interest in boxing and martial arts, and decided to pursue a career in the field to help people make their lives healthier every day! His favorite thing about 9Round is that everyone is super nice, both trainers and members, which makes it a fun, comfortable place to both workout and work! More
Jonathan's love for fitness started on the baseball field, where he played professional baseball for four years with teams from New Mexico, New York, ...Puerto Rico, and Texas. Over his career, he has trained with some of the best trainers around the country, and he now uses the knowledge he's learned from them to build his own Athlete Training Program, where he has been coaching athletes for over 8 years now. Jonathan's favorite thing about 9Round is the fact that it is able to provide a laid-back environment for the novice fitness level, as well as a competitive environment for the more experienced athlete. He also loves that 9Round is a community that comes together and supports each other throughout the workouts. More

I absolutely love working out at 9Rounds! I am stronger than I've been in a long time and the trainers are always challenging me. I've lost over 25 lbs and built muscle. I love the ability to worko... ut at anytime and not being bound to a set time class starts. Fits my hectic work/Mom schedule perfectly. I truly love everything about 9Round! The trainers are always willing to push you to do your best. Since I have started 9Round I feel better than I have in years and have more energy.
