Louis had the great luck to marry into the 9Round Silver Spring family. In truth, we are all lucky to have him. Fighter named Gator, he nearly died from a heart condition six years ago. Yet we know he can make any one of us cry "Uncle!" with his patient, but oh-so-insistent urging. Fun and good humor abound with Gator, but you will learn the speedbag rhythm! You will learn to punch and kick. And you'll learn burpees. Funnily enough, you will love them!

Favorite Part of Training My favorite part of being a 9Round trainer is getting to know so many people, helping each of them achieving their own goals at their own pace.
Gabs has been doing kickboxing for more than 5 years. She first joined 9Round as a member in her home country of Mexico. She was so excited to find our 9Round when she relocated to Silver Spring, she immediately joined! Gabs became part of the team after almost a year of being one of our most enthusiastic members. Now a certified trainer, Gabs still has abundant energy and enthusiasm. She is on a mission to bring the best out in everyone. During your workouts she will make sure you meet your goals with her own unique mix of encouragement, caring, instruction and fun.

The frustration of trying to squeeze a fitness routine into that busy life, and my own need for trainers to motivate me, led me to opening my own 9Round gym. Kickboxing is empowering and there is no better fullbody workout. But consistency is the key to any fitness routine. With 9Round you only need to find three 30-minute blocks a week, with no specific class times. The fun workouts and our awesome trainers do the rest! This is the gym I wished for most of my working life. I love bringing it to you!
