9Round is more than just a kickboxing gym. We do a lot of functional weight and resistance training. Resistance training is any exercise that causes muscles to contract against an external force—such as dumbbells, bands, or body weight—to increase strength, muscle mass, and endurance. Functional weight lifting focuses on exercises that mimic daily activities, improving strength, balance, and coordination for everyday life rather than just aesthetic muscle growth.
